1883 Magazine is a popular British print and online magazine that was founded in 2010 in West London, UK. The magazine focuses on what’s new and exciting in the world of fashion, music, film and art. However, it is a matter of pride for Cambodia that 1883 Magazine recently photographed a fashion show featuring modern jewelry that highlights Khmer style.
According to the official website of 1883 Magazine, the Khmer style jewelry was photographed in the Gilded Allure issue, styled by Cambodian-American model Alissa.iris and photographed by renowned New York fashion photographer Steve Reganato. The jewelry worn on the body, such as romduol earrings, ear cuffs, jasmine necklaces, rings and bracelets, is from Edoeyen, a well-known luxury jewelry brand founded by Cambodians in America.
After the online release, many foreigners are showing interest, especially on the magazine's Instagram page. There are also comments saying, "I really love it. It looks amazing and very elegant." It is worth noting that the Edoeyen jewelry brand was founded by two Cambodian siblings, one named Edo Chorm and the other named Eyen Chorm. Both were born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Currently, this jewelry brand is gaining significant attention and market share abroad.
