It is the longest bamboo connect on the planet, and is revamped each year once the stormy season passes and the Mekong dies down to uncover the sandy banks beneath. Right around a kilometer long and made altogether of blonde bamboo posts, the extension stays until it is submerged and washed away again consistently when the Mekong, flush with snows from the Himalayas, floods once more.
Just a 15-minute stroll from the primary riverside territory, or snappy jump on a bike or moto, the extension is an involvement in its very own right. The inquisitive shaking as vehicles all things considered — even trucks and, to our joy, a steed and truck — ignore it to get to Koh Pen, the extremely beautiful island on the opposite side.
This is an exquisite trip in case you're searching for a loosening up redirection, and an opportunity to see one of the prettier Cambodian towns we've run over. The island appeared to be for all intents and purposes sans litter, which is horrendously unordinary. Along concealed paths, wooden, stilted houses are taken care of along palm and sandalwood trees and incredible blossoms of bougainvillea.
